Have you heard about the latest item on the market? It is not a scooter and not a skateboard.....it is called the Landshark Kneeboard. Check it out here.

The Landshark kneeboard is said to be for 7 years old and up from what I have read on the web about it so far.

Shredding the sidewalk or catching a concrete wave has never been easier than with the Fuzion LandShark. The wide super stable 7-Ply wood deck gets you close to the ground so you can tear up the turns. The custom PU wheels let you stick to the road no matter how tight the carve. The super responsive steering and the hand brake let you maintain control at top speeds.

RIP David William Tracey

This is exactly why you not only wear protective gear such as a helmet, but you just do not hold onto vehicles.

David William Tracey succumbed to his injuries he suffered on June 12th, 2010. David was holding onto a vehicle going for a ride and not wearing any protective gear. He went under the vehicle. He was in hospital for his 18th birthday. And now, he has passed away.

Don't be a statistic. It can happen to anyone so just ride safe.

Nic & Tristan Puehse

If you have never heard of Nic & Tristan Peuhse, then you have to take a few minutes to check them out.

Nic & Tristan are fraternal twins born December 8, 1997. They began skating just after their 6th birthday.

They have a movie being released on June 8th, 2010.

Okay now I think almost everyone in the world has heard of Tillman. If you haven't, then you are going to enjoy this post.

Tillman is a bulldog that loves to skateboard. Yep, skateboard and he is pretty good at it too. Check this video out of Tillman on his board.

I am sure that after watching Tillman on his skateboard that you too are now a Tillman fan. Tillman is very popular. He has been in commercials and if you want him to show up somewhere, you gotta make an request to book him. He even has his own Tillman t-shirts!

X Games 3D The Movie

There is an amazing X Games 3D Movie that is was in theaters for one week almost a year ago. Now the movie is available for purchase. It is an incredible movie. Check out the trailer.

Georgian Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili

I have been looking forward to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games for quite some time. I have been full of excitement. I have been filled with an overwhelming feeling of pride that was sparked even stronger when I was lucky enough to have my picture taken holding the Olympic Torch (unlit). What a memory, what a chance of a lifetime.

Then earlier today I was struck with overwhelming sadness that I still cannot let go of. A very young man, only 21 years old, who worked hard, was obviously determined, filled with Olympic dreams and once full of life, in a split second died on a practice run preparing for his Olympic Luge competition.

I am sure that Nodar Kumaritahvili is in the minds and hearts of people worldwide. I have no doubt that people worldwide,whether they are Nodar's family, friends, or perfect strangers have deep sadness in their hearts tonight.

I have watched the video of Nodar's tragic luge accident over and over. Stunned at his loss of life. I have tried to search the internet for anything that I could put about Nodar and his luge career other than his death today, but cannot find anything. Everything is about his death. Why? Because it is so shocking, so sad.

I hope that everyone, everywhere, whether you are an athlete or not, thinks of Nodar tonight and of his family.

My sympathies go out to the Georgian athletes, Nodar's country, Nodar's friends and Nodar's family. My sympathy is sent to you at such a difficult time. As they Olympic Cauldron was lit tonight, it made me think just how quickly Nodar's Olympic dreams and his life were extinguished. May you rest in Peace.

For the brief description of an Ollie; it is an aerial trick on a skateboard invented by Alan "Ollie" Gelfand in 1978. It basically entails the skateboarder getting airtime with the board without using hands.
